You provide software and applications expertise, and be responsible for implementation of the solutions.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so, you will manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future. You will support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies, offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level, collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings, and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

- Key Requirements:
- Deep Expertise in Digital Solutions & Supply Chain: Proven track record in implementing digital solutions across the entire supply chain, from manufacturing to logistics.
- Hands-on Experience in Plant Automation: Must have worked in a plant environment and served as a digital lead, leveraging automation solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth research on new technologies and trends within the manufacturing and supply chain space.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Proven experience in building roadmaps for implementing new technologies, especially in areas like manufacturing (MFG) and logistics operations (LogOps).
- Global Perspective: Understanding of global supply chains
- English Proficiency
- Candidate Profile:
- Education: Engineering or a related field with a strong focus on Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a plant setting, with a proven track record of implementing digital solutions.
- Experience in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies for supply chain or manufacturing operations.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of various automation technologies (e.g., robotics, AI, machine learning, data analytics).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain planning tools.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Considerations:
- Engineering and IS Perspective: The role will require a broader view than solely focusing on building a machine. The candidate needs to understand the bigger picture of integrating technology across the entire supply chain.
- Global Company: The candidate should have a strong understanding of global supply chains and be comfortable working across different cultures and time zones.
- Travel: The role will require some travel to different regions and facilities to work with internal teams and partners.
