This is a hands-on, cross-functional internship designed for students who are curious about AI, eager to learn, and excited to help teams work smarter at scale. Interns will be deployed against real business initiatives across Finance, Sales, Services, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, Cybersecurity, Purchasing, and IT.

  • Help identify and deliver "quick win" automations (e.g., reporting, data entry, document generation, process handoffs)

Analytics, Reporting & Data Readiness

  • Support analytics initiatives including financial modeling, spend analysis, pipeline and renewals tracking, investment tracking, and operational reporting
  • Assist with dashboards and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Salesforce reports, or AI-generated summaries
  • Contribute to data readiness and integrity efforts by helping standardize files, improve metadata, clean legacy content, and support governance practices that enable effective AI usage

Business Process & Workflow Optimization

  • Document current-state workflows and identify opportunities for automation across areas such as:
  • Sales operations, proposals, SOWs, and renewals
  • Customer Success journeys and operational playbooks
  • Managed Services, Cybersecurity, and Risk Advisory documentation
  • Purchasing governance, compliance tracking, and freight reporting
  • Support AI-assisted documentation, QA, and report generation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency

Customer & Partner-Facing AI Initiatives

  • Support internal and client-facing AI initiatives, including prototyping, testing, and enablement activities
  • Assist with AI-enabled customer success motions, journey orchestration, and operational signals
  • Contribute to marketing, ecommerce, and partner initiatives that leverage AI for seller productivity, content discovery, and digital experience improvements

Enablement, Adoption & Knowledge Sharing

  • Help create training materials, demos, user guides, and adoption resources for AI tools and automations
  • Document use cases, best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to support organizational learning
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve AI solutions
  • Promote responsible, transparent, and ethical use of AI in alignment with CDW guidelines

What we expect of you:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program, with the expected graduation date of Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Strong curiosity about AI, automation, and analytics and how they can be applied in real business environments
  • Comfort working with data, documentation, and process-oriented work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks or projects
  • A learner's mindset with a willingness to experiment, ask questions, and iterate
  • Familiarity with tools such as generative AI, low-code/no-code platforms, analytics, automation, or business systems is an asset

Please note this internship will take place from May 2026 to August 2026
