The mission of the Strategy & Insights Department is to shape the future of Aritzia and galvanize organizational excellence through actionable strategies, plans, and insights.    

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and the Corporate Planning team in our Strategy & Insights Department is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for establishing and governing a cohesive plan that maps how we deliver against our corporate, geographic, and functional strategies. You will lead and motivate the team responsible for the strategic planning process for the organization. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing, developing, and continuously improving the planning function, ensuring we work together cross-functionally to deliver on our corporate strategy and business objectives. THE ROLE

As the Director/Senior Manager, Strategy & Insights, you will lead the team to:

  • Intake and evaluate initiative proposals from departments, considering strategic alignment and financial viability, and create a unified corporate view to ensure organizational alignment
  • Partner with our Finance and People & Culture teams to ensure alignment and reconciliation of deliverables and processes related to strategic planning
  • Design, implement, execute, and continuously improve annual planning processes and tools to ensure optimal organizational effectiveness
  • Centralize business development initiatives and facilitate collaboration between the right stakeholders to eliminate duplicative efforts

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Director/Sr. Manager, Strategy & Insights has:

  • Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, strategy, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in strategic planning, corporate planning, or a similar role.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
  • The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
