Position Overview

Do you have a passion for the media and entertainment industry? Are you fascinated by how datasets are related to each other and curious to uncover what insights can be gleaned when combined? Autodesk Entertainment & Media Solutions is looking for a Strategic Analyst; you will have experience solving problems through data-driven insights, analysis and execution.

You will be an important contributor to the success of Autodesk's Media & Entertainment division, and you will work with a talented and dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about bringing the latest technology to the media entertainment industry.

This is a great opportunity to grow your strategy skills to evolve into a strategist on EMS Business Strategy Team.

You can be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto (Hybrid / Remote Options Available) and will report into the Senior Manager, M&E Business Strategy.

Responsibilities

• You will analyze market trends, internal data, competition, current offering structure, business health, and strategic priorities to support business planning and execution

• You will support and execute on multiple growth plans of Autodesk's media and entertainment division

• You will support the Strategic Intent and the Strategic Realization process with analysis

• You will use data to inform decisions and recommendations around strategic trade-offs

• You will create compelling presentations

• You will be collaborative and deliver business outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

• You have 4+ years of experience in roles combining analytics, research, and business insights / strategy including SaaS top-line financial metrics

• You are an expert in Excel and have story telling in PowerPoint using your analysis

• You are fluent in other data tools such as PowerBI

Vous pouvez être basé à Montréal, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles (options de travail hybride ou à distance) et vous relèverez du directeur principal, Stratégie d’entreprise média et divertissement.

Responsabilités

• Analyser les tendances du marché, les données internes, la concurrence, la structure actuelle de l’offre, la santé de l’entreprise et les priorités stratégiques pour soutenir la planification et l’exécution des activités

• Prendre en charge et exécuter plusieurs plans de croissance de la division des médias et du divertissement d’Autodesk

• Soutenir l’intention stratégique et le processus de réalisation stratégique avec analyse

• Utiliser les données pour prendre des décisions et formuler des recommandations sur les compromis stratégiques

• Créer des présentations captivantes

• Être collaboratif et obtenir des résultats commerciaux

Exigences minimales

• Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe

• Vous disposez de plus de 4 ans d’expérience dans des rôles combinant analyses, recherches, et informations / stratégies commerciales, notamment des indicateurs financiers de référence SaaS

• Vous êtes un expert d’Excel et vous faites du storytelling dans PowerPoint à l’aide de votre analyse

• Vous maîtrisez d’autres outils de données tels que PowerBI

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $89,500 and $154,330. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
