The role

As the Startup Community Lead at Nebius, you will be responsible for building and scaling a high-impact engagement strategy to connect with AI startups and key ecosystem players. This role blends community development, strategic partnerships and go-to-market execution to establish Nebius as a trusted infrastructure provider in the startup ecosystem.

This role is ideal for a strategic ecosystem builder who is passionate about AI, deeply connected in the startup community, and excels at creating scalable, high-value engagement programs.

You’re welcome to work remotely in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and strengthen ecosystem relationships – Identify, engage and develop strategic partnerships with key players in the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, tech orgs, universities, developer communities and AI research hubs.
  • Develop and scale startup engagement programs – Design and implement community-driven initiatives to attract and support high-growth AI startups, ensuring they benefit from Nebius’ offerings.
  • Drive high-Impact events & activations – Lead the planning and execution of founder-focused events including meetups, hackathons, tech talks and educational workshops, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maximize impact.
  • Generate and nurture startup pipeline – Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop a structured approach for engaging and converting high-potential startups into long-term Nebius customers
  • Monitor and optimize success metrics – Track and analyze key performance metrics such as lead generations, startup engagement and community growth, leveraging data-driven insights to refine and enhance engagement strategies.
  • Cross-functional execution – Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales, product and customer success) to ensure community insights are leveraged to improve product offerings and customer experiences.

We expect you to have:

  • 5-7 years of working experience within the startup ecosystem (accelerators, venture firms, cloud/AI startups or related communities).
  • Proven track record in building and scaling startup programs, developer communities or ecosystem partnerships.
  • Established network in the AI community and startup landscape, with build relationships across accelerators, investors, developers and founders.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, from small-scale community meetups to large industry conferences.
  • Ability to develop and execute scalable go-to-market strategies in partnership with sales and marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking at events and engaging with C-level startup leaders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Knowledge of AI infrastructure and cloud computing, with a deep passion for AI and its applications.

It will be an added bonus if you have:

  • Deep network in the AI and startup ecosystem – Existing relationships with key startup ecosystem players, including VCs, accelerators, AI research labs and developer communities.
  • Hands-on experience hosting and managing high-impact events – Successful execution of small to mid-scale events such as meetups, hackathons, demo days, AI summits, or educational workshops.
  • Strong experience in AI/Cloud/Developer ecosystems – Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud computing, ML workflows, or developer tools, with the ability to engage technical founders and developers effectively.
  • Proven track record of building scalable community programs – Experience designing and executing scalable startup engagement strategies, including ambassador programs, technical workshops, and founder communities.

Compensation

We offer competitive salaries, ranging from 150k–215k base, 60/40 split + quarterly bonuses and equity based on your experience.
