We're looking for a Product Manager to join the Consumer Product team at Snap Inc.!

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the feature development and launch process for new and iterative improvements to content ranking and personalization

  • Define how we rank and personalize content, with the goal of making it easier for Snapchatters to find stories they enjoy and care about and impact Snap's engagement and monetization objectives

  • Build and ship innovative products by working with cross-functional leaders in engineering, data science, product design, and business teams

  • Define goals and own the results for your product area

  • Manage a long-term roadmap for your product area including internal tools, data and analytics

  • Solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write specs, create wireframes and workflows, and coordinate cross-functionally

  • Drive strategic product decisions via evaluation of market trends and customer feedback and perform meticulous retrospective and prospective analysis of product performance

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of machine learning ranking workflows (e.g. model training, feature management, cold start etc.)

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

  • Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, data science and other cross-functional teammates

  • Excellent analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and experience with AB testing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of experience

    8+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer or enterprise technology company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related field

  • Background building and applying ML technologies to large scale problems

  • Experience with product design, software development, or interaction design

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Minitab, or SPSS

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $229,000-$343,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $218,000-$326,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $195,000-$292,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
