Job Summary:
 

Semtech’s Signal Integrity Products (SIP) group designs and manufactures high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for the world’s leading data, video, and consumer communication companies. We are looking for someone who loves working at the cutting edge of technology to develop innovative hardware and software test solutions for our product portfolio. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test solutions at package and/or wafer level for new products on the Advantest V93000 test platform, including both software and hardware; 

  • Work with a cross-functional product team to assess and evaluate new designs and provide feedback based on ATE test results;

  • Participate in new product design meetings and work with senior test engineers to drive analog and digital DFT techniques into new devices;

  • Collaborate with the Product Engineering to complete ATE characterization to ensure the robustness of IC designs and test solutions;

  • Support product qualification by developing reliability screening solutions to evaluate device performance during life testing; 

  • Deploy the solutions to our far-shore OSATs and support the ramp-up to full production;

  • Hold periodic test review meetings with project teams;

  • Optimize existing test solutions to improve yield and/or test time and drive continuous margin improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline;

  • 3-5 years experience in ATE semiconductor testing; V93000 experience preferred

  • Experience in bring-up and support of solutions in offshore test locations;

  • Experience in testing high-speed, mixed signal ICs;

  • Understanding of high-speed PCB design concepts and experience in schematic design.
