The Role
We are hiring a Senior Implementation Engineer to lead on-site services & projects for the MiPACS team. This role includes up to 85-90% travel at peak times, delivering hands-on implementations for healthcare clients, with the remainder focused on remote implementations, support, documentation, QA testing, and customer training. Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site implementations of MiPACS software, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems and devices.
  • Collaborate with customers to integrate MiPACS with complex patient management systems, X-ray devices, medical imaging, and ensure compliance with DICOM & HIPAA standards.
  • Provide remote support between on-site visits, assisting with system optimization and performance improvements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of implementations, system changes, and troubleshooting efforts in a CRM system.
  • Train users on MiPACS products, ensuring they are comfortable and effective in their roles.
  • Participate in QA testing of new software releases and product updates to ensure reliability and security.
  • Maintain knowledge of DICOM standards, patient management systems, X-ray devices, other medical imaging, system integrations, & more.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex issues quickly and effectively.
  • Manage and document customer interactions in CRM tools.
  • Ensure projects meet healthcare IT standards, including network security protocols.
  • Travel extensively (85-90%) to customer sites, providing on-site services and transitioning customers to remote support when needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams at MiPACS & Apryse for smooth handoffs of technical projects, product development, bug fixes & more.
  • Traveling to customer sites will be required after successful completion of the training program.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT implementation and technical support, ideally in healthcare or medical imaging.
  • Expertise in networking, SQL databases, PowerShell scripting, and system configurations.


  • Familiarity with DICOM standards and medical imaging systems.
  • CompTIA Network+ and A+ certifications are highly preferred.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms.
  • Communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to handle high-pressure situations in an effective & timely manner.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work independently on-site.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $70,000 - $100,000 CAD in on target earnings.
