We are seeking a visionary Product Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of a highly technical product in its earliest stages, working closely with a world-class engineering team. As our first Sr. Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities. Your work will directly impact the success of our first product and the future trajectory of the company. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Develop a clear and compelling vision for the product, aligning it with the company’s mission and goals.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that prioritizes features and milestones based on customer needs, market trends, and technical feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure product development aligns with customer and market expectations.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to deeply understand customer pain points and use cases.
  • Requirements Management: Translate complex technical capabilities into user-friendly product features and requirements, balancing innovation with usability.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in robotics, AI, and machine vision.
  • Launch Planning: Lead go-to-market strategies and collaborate on marketing efforts to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Metrics & Reporting: experience tracking data to launch, product success

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in robotics, AI, or other technical domains.
  • Proven experience leading product delivery from initial requirements gathering to product launch.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams, including an understanding of technical concepts.
  • Experience developing product roadmap based on market needs and business strategy
  • Demonstrated experience with data analytics tools to inform product decisions, measure success.
  • Must have experience with including early access and feedback programs, coordination with marketing, delivery of product to sales
  • Technical Acumen: Strong track record of managing technical product roadmap, machine vision, robotics, or AI technologies, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to take ownership and lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical products.
  • Customer Focus: Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable product features.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

Typical base salary range is 130-175,000
