Role Description and Mission:

As a Senior Product Lead, Automotive, you’ll take the reins of shaping the future of OEM products and services at Agero. In this key product leadership role, you'll collaborate with executives, product teams, client success, sales, and strategic partners to craft innovative solutions that align with market trends and exceed client expectations.

You’ll spearhead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of Agero's Automotive Roadside Assistance product portfolio — driving growth and solidifying Agero’s position as a market leader.

The automotive industry is undergoing a massive transition, adapting to disruptive technologies that are forcing manufacturers to rethink not only how they build cars (from internal combustion to electric), but also how they sell cars to consumers and extend their relationship with consumers throughout the vehicle lifecycle.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic problem solver and leader who is ready to join a fast paced organization and create outstanding experiences that deliver exceptional outcomes to millions of our clients’ motorists and passengers every year.

Key Outcomes:

  • Build the Product Roadmap: Own and execute the strategic product roadmap for automotive roadside assistance products. Align with cross-functional teams—engineering, design, client success, and business units — to create a product strategy that maximizes value, meets market needs, and delivers exceptional business outcomes.
  • Innovate & Drive Product Excellence: Identify market opportunities to enhance Agero’s automotive roadside assistance products. Define and execute cutting-edge features and services, ensuring they meet both current and future client demands.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive product development from concept to market launch. Engage with internal teams and external partners to optimize product offerings and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
  • Identify Market Opportunities: Use competitive analysis, industry trends, and client feedback to inform and evolve the product strategy. Stay ahead of market shifts and opportunities, ensuring Agero’s offerings are always innovative, relevant, and differentiated in the marketplace.
  • Drive New Product Revenue: Partner with business leadership, client success, and sales teams to commercialize new product offerings. Define go-to-market strategies, ensuring a sharp focus on high-performing products to drive revenue growth.
  • Become a Product Evangelist: Be the go-to subject matter expert for Agero’s automotive capabilities. Champion the products internally and externally, ensuring all stakeholders — clients, partners, and colleagues — understand the unique value and strategic vision behind the product portfolio.
  • Mentor & Inspire: Lead by example, mentoring less-experienced product managers and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. Help shape the future leaders of our product team.

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus). You have 8-10 years of experience in product management, with a solid track record of driving product strategy and execution in service-based or tech-driven industries (automotive industry or OEM experience is a plus).
  • Strategic Mindset: You thrive on developing and executing long-term product strategies that align with both business goals and customer needs. You bring a sharp analytical mindset to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and product gaps.
  • Client-Centric Focus: You are passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. You have a deep understanding of how to identify client pain points and the ability to translate those insights into compelling product features and improvements.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire collaboration across engineering, design, marketing, and sales. You excel in building relationships, aligning diverse groups, and driving toward common goals.
  • Innovation & Problem Solving: You are driven by innovation and can think creatively to solve complex challenges. You stay ahead of market trends and use competitive intelligence to continuously push the envelope.
  • Communication Skills: You’re an exceptional communicator, capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, clients, and partners. You can lead high-stakes discussions with confidence and influence.
  • Project Management Expertise: You have a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and priorities with precision to ensure successful product launches.

Travel Requirements: Expect to travel up to 20% for client meetings, industry events, and internal coordination—connecting with the people who help shape our future.
