Position Summary

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Manager of QA Automation to join our dynamic team and lead our quality assurance automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and team leadership. This role involves strategizing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA automation strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate and implement automation tools and frameworks.
  • Establish best practices and standards for automation processes.
  • Proficient in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of manual and automated test scripts.
  • Ensure thorough testing of software applications to meet quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
  • Implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA activities.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on QA activities and project statuses.
  • Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes and quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within QA
  • Proven experience with automation and load testing tools like Selenium, Tricentis, AccelQ, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience in API testing, ETL/ELT testing, performance testing and security testing.
