We are seeking a talented, bright and hardworking individual with a proven track record of success to establish a new team within the Customer Solutions NA organization.
The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager, E2E Control Tower NA is to ensure the near-term and long-term health of our distribution network and to maximize the fill rate of customer orders. The Control Tower plays a key role in facilitating / managing trade off requirements based on cost and customer services levels to ensure Supply Chain E2E performance. In times of limited supply, this role will own the customer allocation process and execution of priorities set by McCain Sales.
The role will design and build out industry leading process capability (SOP's) focused on cultivating a customer centric Supply Chain. This will be done by leading & coaching a team, collaborating with stakeholders to identify current points of opportunity and implementing sustainable corrective actions to improve the customer experience in North America.
The ideal candidate for this position is inquisitive about our business and understands the importance of Fulfillment processes both internally and externally to drive strategic supply chain partnerships with Customers. Leveraging data analytics to provide insights and guide decisions is essential. Candidates must also possess superb analytical capabilities, outstanding business insight, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to include demonstrated success with people development and leadership. Ability to work independently within broad guidelines, function effectively under time constraints, with changing priorities and work on a number of initiatives simultaneously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Function as the overall Control Tower for the McCain North American Supply Chain network ensuring prioritization and health of all inbound and outbound movements through the network. Develop and maintain tools to ensure proactive actionability.
- Own the regular review of network sizing. Leverage and develop internal projection tools and other forecasting tools to maximize cost competitiveness and service levels of the McCain North American network.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement and oversee the response of key Supply Chain stakeholders highlighting future capacity constraints and/or bottlenecks.
- Own the stock allocation and alignment processes.
- Ensure the connectivity of operations inclusive of Deployment, Customer Solutions, Demand Management, Logistics and Sales.
- Develop, monitor and report KPI scorecards across different geographies and operations. Incorporate observations of performance monitoring into reports and provide actionable insights for management.
- Lead service triage efforts at a Business Unit, Customer, Channel or Site specific level as needed.
- Proactively prioritize movements to maximize fill rates and ensure the health of all inbound and outbound movements across all distribution networks and Business Units.
- Work closely with the Go-To-Market VP, Directors Customer Experience SC, and Director Customer Service NA, and the Director of E2E Network Operations to regularly review service levels for key customers, channels, and Business Units, reporting out on historic drivers, proactive actions and plans and future outlook.
- Support robust S&OE activities along with Customer Hypercare needs.
- Monitor analytics and reporting to define opportunities to level-up Supply Chain reliability, performance and cost. Examples include site throughput, lead times, CFR by DC, in-bound on-time %, out bound on-time %, DC/Trans capacity (both operational and theoretical).
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Operations Management.
- Five - seven years Supply Chain experience, including Customer facing roles, Logistics, Network Planning, Supply / Demand Planning.
- Proven people leadership to include leveraging of talent development tools / processes that ensures competent bench strength and talent pipeline.
- Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Thorough, detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Results focused. Bias towards action, able to analyze multiple pieces of information and act decisively.
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Understand sources of information and is able to procure information effectively.
- Tact and diplomacy - Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, customers and stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, ever before the stakeholder recognizes they are required.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, through the use of organized project planning tools.
- Strong SAP competencies to include exposure to transactional research and error resolution.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and TMS.
- Expert level understanding of major business processes and associated data within the Customer Solutions space, as well as a working knowledge of relevant departments (such as supply planning, manufacturing, sales, marketing, engineering, IT, etc.) and how they integrate with Logistics.
- Cross functional awareness with the ability to lead others who report to other parts of the organization to deliver projects successfully on-time and on budget.
- Ability to coach others to identify, gather and interpret relevant data, assisting with root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Engages with cross-functional teams supporting supply chain process improvement projects.
- Develop new processes and procedures as needed to support successful strategic projects.
- Successful demonstration managing multiple requests at one time, while meeting (or exceeding) stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to coach, mentor and hold others accountable.
- The ability to listen to input and feedback from stakeholders, while managing scope creep and filtering out non-relevant information.
This role can be based out of any of our NA Corporate offices: Oakbrook, Toronto, or Florenceville, New Brunswick.

Compensation Package : $107,600.00 - $143,500.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
