ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Sr. Lead Product Owner leads the strategy, development, and lifecycle of an
AI-driven SaaS platform designed to generate more qualified leads for automotive
dealerships and OEM partners.
This role focuses on building data-driven digital retail tools, CRM automation, and
AI-powered customer engagement solutions that improve shopper conversion,
accelerate vehicle sales and strengthen dealer retention.
The Senior Lead Product Owner ensures the platform delivers measurable business value,
driving lead growth, dealer performance, and long-term SaaS adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy
Define and execute the AI SaaS product roadmap focused on maximizing dealer lead generation and shopper conversion.
Identify opportunities to improve traffic, engagement, and lead capture across all dealership customer touchpoints.

AI Conversion & Optimization
- Develop AI-powered tools such as intelligent chat, voice assistants, predictive lead scoring, and automated follow-ups.
- Continuously optimize the digital retail journey from online vehicle discovery to dealership appointment.
Dealer Growth & Business Impact
- Deliver measurable improvements in lead volume, lead quality, and dealer sales opportunities.
- Partner with dealer groups and OEMs to improve inventory exposure and shopper engagement.
Product Performance & Analytics
Define and monitor key product KPIs including:
- website lead conversion
- lead-to-appointment rate
- lead-to-sale conversion
- cost per lead
- dealer retention.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, AI/data science, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-impact product features.
- Align roadmaps with the Cars Commerce and dealer technology ecosystem.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with internal teams, dealerships, and OEM partners.
- Communicate product roadmap progress, performance metrics, and key achievements to leadership.
ABOUT YOU:
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated strategic and growth mindset
- Experience developing AI tools
- Experience leading the implementation of new products and processes in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
Preferred:
Bilingualism, French and English. Automotive industry expertise preferred.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position. In addition to base salary, some roles are eligible for our bonus and/or equity programs, depending on level and role. Regular full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. If the salary range is close to what you're seeking, then we encourage you to apply and learn more about the total compensation package for this position.Salary Range$156,400.00-195,500.00
