Avid is looking for an HR Business Partner to join its Business Partnering team for a 7-month contract opportunity. The role will be located remotely in either Canada (primary location) or Poland.
As an HRBP supporting our global Commercial and Customer teams, you will play a critical role in driving organizational transformation and performance. Acting as a strategic partner, you will align HR strategies with business objectives to enhance workforce effectiveness, leadership capabilities, and employee engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Partner with Commercial and Customer leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Support leaders in driving organizational change by implementing strategic, culture-focused, and process-driven solutions that enhance team effectiveness and business performance.
- Partner with managers and employees to proactively identify and address root causes of challenges, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a high-performing culture.
- Drive talent strategies, including workforce planning, career development, and succession planning.
- Act as a coach to leaders on team dynamics, performance, and engagement.
- Implement HR programs to enhance productivity, retention, and leadership development.
- Provide data-driven insights to influence decision-making and improve team performance.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices across global teams.
- Consult with managers and employees to address root causes of HR issues and resolving employee relations issues with a systematic approach.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- HR Business partner experience, preferably supporting Commercial or Customer-facing teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into impactful HR outcomes, driving organizational success.
- Proven track record in managing and executing global projects simultaneously, taking full ownership from start to finish with minimal guidance, and delivering results that align with business goals.
- Experience driving change, influencing leaders, and executing HR strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and global HR practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a flexible approach.
