What You'll Bring:
- Post-secondary degree in Business with a focus on product management or global strategy, or related experience. MBA, an asset.
- 10+ years of business experience with at least 6 years that focus on product management, market and industry analysis. Experience with a management consulting firm is an asset.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in product strategy and management, preferably digital consumer facing, financial services or technology.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and conceptualize solutions that solve business problems.
- Proven ability to create compelling and crisp communication, cross-functionally and at all levels.
- Exceptional project management capabilities and high attention to detail; comfortable working from a blank sheet of paper under deadlines and producing key deliverables.
- Proven ability to quickly grasp industry and business-wide concepts in order to assess product implications to drive actions and to capitalize on opportunities.
- Proven success navigating large, matrixed organizations - Collaborative, customer-focused individual who can work across all levels and functions.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity with a successful track record of driving ideas to implementation.
Impact You'll Make:
This role will act as a key Senior Advisor to Consumer Solutions across International markets and is responsible for supporting the evaluation of new business opportunities and partnerships, and the development of product strategies to promote the growth agenda. The Senior Advisor will have the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, evaluate new product capabilities, and drive innovative product strategies for TransUnion’s digital credit health and identity protection products for Direct-to-consumer (DTC) and Indirect-to-consumer customers.
To be successful in the role, the incumbent will be a true strategic thinker and bring a mix of product management and management consulting experience (or equivalent) within Financial Services and Digital Consumer products. The incumbent will work to enable global IP diffusion by partnering with business owners, product managers, and other senior leaders to develop product strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate the evaluation process to determine a go/no go decision on new opportunities and market expansion, including robust business casing.
- Closely work with Consumer Interactive leadership, global and regional solution teams to develop innovative and aggressive solution roadmaps and strategies to drive the growth agenda.
- Design, lead, and shepherd strategic initiatives, including product and platform enhancements, from concept initiation through delivery and Go-to-Market (GTM) launch engaging across cross-functional teams.
- Support the development and communication of the Consumer product vision across International markets, promoting a global approach and solution focus.
- Capture a clear view of “voice of customer” for critical industry issues and user feedback, applying design thinking principles to deliver product improvements and solution expansion.
- Monitor and analyze competitive landscape to identify gaps, weaknesses and opportunities across product solution suites.
- Demonstrate a strong bias to action to help the organization make prudent investment decisions and rollout plans.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality, trustworthiness, and judgment in handling sensitive information.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
