Performance Objectives
- Build and maintain energy-related geospatial projects leveraging automation and AI-enhanced workflows.
- Produce publication-quality maps and interactive geospatial visualizations that communicate complex spatial insights.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, financial analysts, engineers, developers, and others.
- Maintain a high level of data integrity, governance, and project standardization across GIS datasets and workflows.
- Gather, QC, and manage technical and geospatial data .
- Analyze, interpret, and organize complex spatial data to generate actionable insights.
- Digitize, georeference , and structure spatial data to support scalable analytics.
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Post-secondary education in GIS, geography, geology, geoscience, engineering technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive GIS experience.
- Advanced skills in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Strong experience in spatial data management, digitization, and georeferencing.
- Working knowledge of Python ( ArcPy and open-source libraries); automation experience preferred.
- Experience in oil & gas or energy transition sectors is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
