As a Software Developer in Test, you will play a key role within our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), owning and driving product quality across our web applications. You will design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and champion modern, engineering-driven testing practices.

Strong, hands-on Cypress experience (JavaScript/TypeScript) is required.Candidates without direct Cypress experience will not be considered. Playwright experience may be considered if paired with strong JavaScript expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress
• Build and execute integration, regression, and end-to-end automated tests
• Test RESTful APIs and backend services
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform root cause analysis and support defect triage
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Maintain QA traceability throughout the SDLC

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or software development
• Proven, recent hands-on experience with Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience testing modern web applications and APIs
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD environments
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Startup experience preferred but not required
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Terms of employment:

• Salary Range - 90,000 - 110,000 CAD 
• Remote work in Canada.
