Responsibilities:
- Agency Collaboration: Brief social media agencies on objectives and expectations, ensuring alignment with brand and overarching social goals and KPIs, including the evaluation and management of Social boosting budget.
- Content Planning: Collaborate with agencies and the Global team to plan, deliver and execute evergreen, always on social strategy and content, along with influencer strategies. This includes evaluating the need and requirements of securing content-creators and influencers at any off-site/partnership events where brands are present to ensure amplification.
- Influencer Management & Execution: Coordinate the planning and execution of brand and partnership/sponsorship influencer content, including all reviews and approvals with key stakeholders, vehicle coordination and content execution.
- Content Calendar Management: Coordinate and maintain the social media content calendar, working closely with cross-functional teams, legal, third parties, and creative teams for key inputs. Ensure timely content uploads through the content planning tools, effectively coordinating paid and owned content.
- Social Channel Management: Lead social media channel management, ensuring adherence to proper formats and best practices.
- Community Development & Advocacy Fostering : Support the overarching development of loyal customers/follower base within the social media community across platforms and interest groups including working with influencers to foster macro/micro and UGC communities.
- Project Management: Organize and lead meetings with internal and external partners to manage content planning, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaboration: Work with team members, partner agencies, and GM stakeholders during all phases of content development to drive successful execution.
- Metrics Reporting: Collaborate with analytics team and agencies to coordinate and deliver monthly metrics and insights reports to inform future creative and content strategy.
- Platform Engagement: Participate in meetings with global teams and social platform partners to discuss best practices and innovative content strategies.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all social channels reflect the proper brand tone and voice.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on current and emerging social media trends to inform content strategy.
- Global Coordination: Work with global teams to align content sharing and market strategies.
- Cross-Tier Opportunities: Identify opportunities for content utilization across dealer social channels and other brand channels, within GM.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in social media (campaign support or community management).
- Platform & Social Best Practices Expertise: Familiarity with major social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), best practices and trends.
- Knowledge of Social Listening and reporting tools such as Brandwatch is encouraged
- Creative Passion: Strong understanding of brand language and tone of voice and articulation in social media space.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Adaptability: Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Drive for results and gets things done: High Capacity, High Quality Output, High Sense of Urgency.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
