Boeing Distribution Inc. Is seeking a Shipping Receiving Specialist/Material Handler reporting to the Regional Operational Manager, working out of the Mississauga, Ontario facility.
The Shipping Receiving Specialist/Material Handler role completes initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing shipments. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Processes hazardous goods in accordance with Transport Canada requirements, processes the material handling of inbound and outbound customer orders (completing all required tasks e.g., pick; pack; ship, etc.). Validates Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for incoming/outgoing chemical shipments. Maintains inventory of shipping supplies.
This is a full-time, day shift position and is Monday through Friday with a 40-hour week.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

- Daily performance of manual material handling tasks
- Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
- Processes hazardous goods in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Validates Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for incoming/outgoing chemical shipments.
- Monitors shipping/receiving discrepancies and develops solutions to mitigate errors.
- Maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures.
- Facilitates the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.

- Processing of daily outbound deliveries and customer orders including Picking; packaging and shipping tasks
- Receiving of materials and restocking inventory levels.
- Must be able to lift 35-50lbs consistently throughout the day
- Able to stand and walk for long periods including - entirety of shift

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, overseeing resolution of incoming/outgoing shipment discrepancies.
- Microsoft office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with operation support or administrative activities.
- Experience with various courier companies.
- Knowledge of operating procedures for packaging and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, walking stackers, carts, dollies, box tapers).
- Ability to stand for extended period as well as able to physically perform the duties of the position including standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs throughout the day.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- SAP experience is preferred
- Prefer experience working in a warehouse setting
- Shipping experience utilizing multiple carrier websites
