Job Summary:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be the main point of contact for providing administration, support, troubleshooting, handling change requests, and developing and implementing technical solutions on the platform
What you'll be doing:

Ensuring all incidents are triaged, responded to, and resolved by following established guidelines and updating the appropriate stakeholders on the status of incidents

Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure incidents and system disruptions
-
Support the platform by diagnosing and fixing issues as well as coming up with ways to improve it
-
Ensure the platform is working optimally which includes maintenance and repair of it
-
Developing and implementing complex system and application-level monitoring tools
-
Evaluation of current processes and process improvement
-
Developing solutions to improve system performance, management, and monitoring.

Contribute to peer design reviews for proposed new solutions.

Work collaboratively with development, systems or infrastructure resources on new solutions.

Making presentations regarding new directions for technologies

Providing technical guidance to more junior staff in the resolution of application and infrastructure issues

Contributing and maintaining Architectural documentation for ServiceNow

Maintaining current knowledge of Central 1's family of products, application functionality, and the high-level architecture of Central's hosting environment

Train end-users on changes to the platform.

What you'll have:

University degree in computer science (or equivalent)

5+ years' experience with the ServiceNow platform
-
5+ years relevant experience in a large-scale IT environment developing and administering Platform/Software as a Service. (PaaS/SaaS).

Advanced knowledge and understanding of IT operations and ITSM processes
-
Strong understanding of infrastructure deployments, web application and operating systems
-
Experience in scripting
-
Expertise in best practices related to infrastructure configuration and maintenance, system administration and documentation.

Analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with technical teams and other co-workers, work to schedules, and

Adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs.

Ability to provide technical leadership and work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines in a team environment.
Technical Knowledge:

5+ years' experience with the ServiceNow platform is required.

5+ years' experience developing for, operating and supporting Platform/Software as a Service (PaaS/SaaS) is required

5+ years' experience in web application/services development is required.

5+ years' experience in using SQL (MSSQL, MySQL) is required.

Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL Certification/Training) is required.

Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, PowerShell) is required.

Advanced knowledge of operating and supporting Web-Based Applications is required

Advanced knowledge of ITIL is required

Knowledge of Active Directory is required

Experience with Web Services, REST APIs, JSON is preferred.

Experience in Linux, PHP, jQuery, Git, Jenkins is preferred

Experience with business analysis and information gathering is preferred.

Experience with Web Services, APIs, Microservices (MuleSoft etc. ) is preferred

Experience with Cloud Architectures (Amazon, Azure) is preferred.

Experience in monitoring/reporting tools (Cacti, Nagios, Dynatrace) is preferred

Knowledge of financial transactional services is preferred
Salary: $97,541
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
