As a Senior Treasury Analyst at Hiive, you will play a critical role in supporting the back-office settlement process, managing customer funds reconciliation in compliance with regulatory standards, and conducting in-depth research and analysis to optimize foreign exchange and credit facility strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate cash flow forecasts, assisting with investment portfolio analysis, and supporting key treasury administrative functions.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
Support Hiive Settlement process to facilitate back-office settlement on customer transactions
Support reconciliation and recording of the customer funds ledger in adherence to the applicable regulation framework
Conduct research on foreign exchange and recommend FX hedging strategies
Support analysis and maintain reporting requirements for credit facilities
Assist in analyzing the investment portfolio and calculating short-term funding needs
Support Treasury administrative functions, including bank account opening process, bank fee analysis, and trade recommendation
Maintain weekly cashflow forecast and cash balance update
Supporting ongoing strategic initiatives related to treasury and payments
Required Skills:
5+ years of banking operations, treasury, or related experience.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of performance
Have knowledge of US and Canadian payment rails, cash management, and accounting principles.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, and a keen interest in learning new technology are required.
Hold integrity as a principal value.
Preferred Skills:
Working towards completion of a relevant professional designation (CPA, CTP or CFA).
Experience working in a growth start-up or rapidly changing environment is considered an asset.
Experience working in the capital markets or technology industry is also considered an asset.
