Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the growth of the organization by leading and mentoring other team members and sharing your expertise with a broad audience.

• Be a technical leader who demonstrates excellence

• Identify requirements, design and implement generic solutions

• Diagnose, debug and fix critical issues and defects

• Write technical specifications, design and test integration documents.

• Work with global cross-functional teams


Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong working knowledge of design principles including abstraction, inheritance, and system decomposition

• A team player with a solid work ethic and a reputation for delivering high quality solution

• Strong C programming skills in a Linux environment

• Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for solving abstract problems

• Experience with automated testing and commitment to test driven software

• Solid understanding of the data networking industry including LAN/WAN and network layer protocols 


Additional Desired Skills/Experience

• OAM technologies (i.e. NETCONF/SNMP/Statistics and Performance Management/Network and Element management)

• Model driven solutions

• Test driven development

• Experience Agile practitioner

• API framework definition and standardization

• Networking and IP protocols

Education Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required
