Press Ganey currently has an exciting opportunity for a full stack Senior Software Engineer in our offices in Vancouver Canada. This role will support our client facing iRound product, which is a part of our patient experience organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full stack developer, capable of designing, documenting and implementing projects from the UI, backend and database perspectives.
- Performs systems analysis and design, prepares functional specifications and technical specifications for small applications or systems based on gathered requirements and technical research.
- Ensures compliance and recommends change, if necessary, in standards, policies or processes.
- Participates in iteration and release planning
- Adheres to core design and testing principles
- Follows and updates the design specifications as needed
- Learns and follow standards, processes and procedures
- Authors supporting documentation
- Prepares own work for inclusion in the release/deployment management process
- Participates in peer technical reviews
- Troubleshoots identified problems and provides support and follow-up for issues
- Completes assigned design tasks within the time allotted
- Mentors Software Developers
Responsible for the quality of work that the team members perform.
Coordinates with other IT and business teams.
Trains other developers on standards, policies, and procedures.
Supports Software Applications
Coordinates issue resolution process
Provides support and follow-up for issues.
Qualifications
Experience and desire to build software using modern AI tools such as Copilot or Windsurf.
Effective communicator (both verbal and written) with individuals and larger groups
Analytical and creative thinker
Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teammates
4+ years of building software solutions with Microsoft technologies
1+ years developing application in React UI or other modern HTML UI frameworks
Experience with:
Microsoft technologies: .NET Framework, C#, Web API 1 & 2, Entity Framework, .NET Core
Frontend interface technologies: React UI, JavaScript, SASS, CSS
Database technologies: Microsoft SQL Server (SQL) and MongoDb (non SQL)
Asynchronous messaging technologies: RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus
Automation testing technologies: Java and Selenium
Experience supporting mission-critical production applications deployed in Microsoft Azure.
Experience with writing code that can be unit tested, writing unit testing and writing automation tests
Experience with continuous integration using any of the tools that target managing the process
Experience with automating build and deployment processes (Continuous Integration)
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $190,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
