Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Moneris collaborates with other technology teams to build, implement and support efficient, scalable and fail-tolerant Moneris data platforms applications and solutions. As a blend of data engineering and system administration, you will lead the implementation and support of the different application environments. As a member of the support team, you will also provide rotational on-call support for the applications.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience working with systems infrastructure administration, design and/or management.

Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure cloud technologies and services.

Minimum 3 years of experience working on Unix/Linux operating systems and Shell scripting

Proficient in computer applications, server configurations, networking systems, databases, data science tools and technologies, and large-scale distributed systems and processes

Working knowledge of DevOps practices.

Strong working knowledge of computer applications, server configurations, networking systems, database administration, data science tools and technologies.

Strong working knowledge of databases and data storage technologies.

Experience with one or more scripting languages (i.e. PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
