Overview
About the Role - Instacart is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Channel Sales Partnership Executive to manage and grow Instacart data and measurement sales relationships with leading Demand-Side Platform (DSP) partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in sales, and a partnerships leader, particularly in a data-driven environment.

About the Job
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to create tailored strategies for selling data solutions to Instacart DSP partners.
- Work with xfn teams to drive adoption of data and measurement offerings by Instacart DSP partners, enabling them to integrate and deliver high-value insights to their clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective partner engagement and promotion of our data solutions.
Partner Relationship Management :
- Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key DSP partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying opportunities for joint growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for DSP partners sales, marketing and product teams, providing exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction with our data offerings.
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations and support related to DSP integrations and sales enablement.
Partnership Development :
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with potential DSP partners, expanding our network of strategic alliances.
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with DSPs to drive mutual growth and strengthen market positioning.
- Work closely with DSP partners to understand their needs, market trends, and pain points, and provide solutions that address these challenges.
- Possess a deep understanding of ad tech, programmatic buying and Agency Holding company ecosystems
- Maintain a deep understanding of our data products, features, and benefits, staying current on industry trends and DSP platform capabilities.
- Partner and coordinate with Instacart sales teams to develop mutually beneficial commercials/proposals with assigned DSP partners
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
- Subject matter expert making and giving presentations to prospective brand and agency clients
- Consult, inform and help implement processes and policies to support each initiative
- Track and report on revenue with assigned Platform partners.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 6-8 years of relevant media/ad sales/agency/platform experience
- Driven data and measurement sales, activation experience.
- Works towards sales goals.
- Client relationship builder with executive presence
- Strong understanding of DSP platforms, programmatic advertising, and data-driven marketing strategies.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships with DSPs or similar digital advertising platforms.
- Understanding of the ecommerce landscape
- Comfortable selling new/novel/untested customer engagement tools
- Commercial/financial and data based thinkerUnderstanding of CPG industry
- Ability to stay calm in dynamic, rapidly-changing environments.
- Deals well with ambiguity
- Must be open to travel

- Metrics orientation - can get up to speed on search/ad metrics quickly
- Client service orientation - fast follow ups, general sense of urgency
- Great storyteller when building presentation material
Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here. Currently, we are only hiring in the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role. This role also includes a Sales Incentive Plan. Additionally, this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grants. Please read more about our benefits offerings here.
