Job Overview:
Atlassian is looking for a Sr Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of regional events and high-touch engagement programs which drive demand, enhance brand awareness, and foster customer engagement.
Your role will be to build and execute a full regional event and high-touch engagement strategy, working alongside sales, product marketing, account-based marketing and global scaled demand gen teams, as well as other internal teams to deliver a cohesive engagement marketing strategy across AMER.
We are looking for a strategic marketer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality events, and who can curate experiences which amplify and scale engagement with Atlassian. You're a great program manager, who thrives in building high-touch and memorable experiences which bring the brand to life. You love the science of marketing as much as the art and enjoy building, implementing and measuring new systems, processes and campaigns. This role will report to the Head of Global Field Marketing Team.
In this role you will:

  • Own and develop the regional event and engagement marketing strategy in close partnership with sales and marketing counterparts within the AMER territory
  • Develop and execute a strategic event portfolio which will include field events, roundtables, webinars, demos and 3rd party trade shows
  • Deliver end to end regional programs that will drive impact against AMER's marketing influenced pipeline targets
  • Lead the high-touch regional CxO programs which include building and executing "white glove" hospitality event moments with the most critical strategic and enterprise accounts
  • Drive "Atlassian Weeks" which amplify executive presence in market by building an end-to-end schedule which optimizes customer meetings, community meet-up's, EBC's, channel partner engagement and thought leadership speaking opportunities
  • Manage events with pipe-gen mindset, operational rigor, and close attention to detail. Majority of planning focus in pre-event demand gen and post event follow-up while ensuring operational excellence for the logistics such as venue management, budget management, vendor management.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on engagement performance to marketing and sales leadership, in line with our GTM strategy
  • Be an advocate for the AMER organization and help the rest of the marketing department understand regional priorities, such as local speakers, content, customs and protocols
  • Manage the AMER engagement calendar for the year and contribute to the global marketing calendar
  • Connect the dots between teams, ensuring that all teams based in region work in an orchestrated and collaborative way
  • Drive the sales enablement plan for events and executive engagement programs
  • Engage with the Atlassian Brand and Global Communications teams to ensure the event stages you craft represent and enhance the Atlassian brand locally


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $132,500 - $176,600
Zone B: $119,200 - $159,000
Zone C: $109,900 - $146,600
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
