About the Role
We’re hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead a key area of AppOmni’s SaaS security platform. You’ll build products at the intersection of identity, data, and risk—helping customers make sense of complex SaaS environments and take action.
This is a high-impact, highly technical role where you’ll partner closely with Engineering and Security to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver scalable, data-driven capabilities. Ideal for someone with deep experience in SaaS and security who thrives in a fast-moving, high-ownership startup environment.
We're looking for someone open to working in a hybrid environment, either from the Bay Area, CA or Denver, CO.
What you'll do:
Own a Critical Product Area
- Take ownership of a core part of AppOmni’s SaaS security platform, helping customers understand and reduce risk across their SaaS environments.
- Define and drive the roadmap for how we ingest, model, and surface security risks across APIs, connectors, and large-scale datasets.
- Operate with high autonomy and accountability—this is a role for someone who wants to build, not just manage.
Build at the Intersection of Identity & Risk
- Design products that map complex relationships between identities (human, non-human, and AI), applications, permissions, and activity.
- Translate fragmented signals across posture, threat, and identity into clear, actionable insights for security teams.
- Help define how modern SaaS security platforms should represent and communicate risk.
Ship Fast, Thoughtfully
- Work side-by-side with Engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-impact features.
- Write clear, concise requirements and make smart tradeoffs between speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
- Be comfortable going deep technically—understanding APIs, data ingestion pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage is core to the role.
- Balance rapid iteration with thoughtful platform investments and tech debt management.
Be Deeply Customer-Centric
- Talk to customers constantly—CISOs, security engineers, and practitioners—to understand real-world SaaS security challenges.
- Anchor every decision in user problems, not just feature requests.
- Build intuitive ways for different personas to understand risk and take action quickly.
Lead Without Authority
- Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Security Research, and GTM teams to bring products to life.
- Communicate clearly and directly—especially when navigating ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Help raise the bar for product thinking, execution, and customer empathy across the team.
What We’re Looking For:
Required
- 8+ years of Product Management experience building and shipping technical, enterprise-grade products.
- Strong, hands-on experience in both SaaS and security (must-have)—you understand how SaaS applications work and where security risks emerge.
- Deep understanding of identity and access concepts and how they relate to risk in SaaS environments.
- Experience working with APIs, data ingestion systems, ETL pipelines, and data storage at scale.
- Highly technical—you’re comfortable diving into system architecture and working closely with engineers on design decisions.
- Proven ability to define ambiguous problems, prioritize effectively, and make thoughtful tradeoffs.
- Strong understanding of users—how to define jobs-to-be-done, map journeys, and build for multiple personas.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear user value.
- Data-driven approach to defining and measuring success.
Nice-to-have’s
- Experience building or working on SaaS security products (SSPM, IAM, CSPM, SIEM, or related areas).
- Experience modeling or correlating large, complex datasets to generate insights or risk signals.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ServiceNow).
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment where you’ve had to move fast and wear multiple hats.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven security or identity systems.
