Our Team:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join the Networking Solutions product management team. This team is responsible for our routers including advanced network management and cloud services. We are focused on providing mission critical 5G connectivity to key verticals such as industrial, public safety and utilities. We are building solutions that enable our customers in the transformation to a smarter and more sustainable planet.

Job Summary:

As Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role interfacing with all functional areas of the company (Operations, Finance, Sales, Engineering) and our customers, creating and managing your own product lines for deployment in the harshest mission critical environments.

You will be responsible for the definition of hardware and software elements of the Router portfolio. Listening to customers, creating and driving the product vision, developing requirements, guiding product development and championing new product commercialization.

Responsibilities:

  • Product management for hardware and embedded software for gateways and routers.

  • Develop deep understanding of target customers and markets across the wireless landscape.

  • Define and document user stories and product requirements based on regular customer and partner engagement, competitive analysis, and deep understanding of technology market trends.

  • Manage product priorities and releases, with direct interaction with the engineering teams.

  • Perform benchmarking analysis on competitive products, provide feedback to sales and channel organizations.

  • Track and report on key management metrics of product line including sales and revenue targets, sales opportunity funnel metrics, and competitive updates. Prepare and drive countermeasures where performance does not meet target expectations

  • Aligning strategy with roadmaps and product plans

  • Identify product features and functions

  • The candidate must be self-motivated and a team leader and be able to develop key concepts and execute on them

  • Jointly develop product positioning messaging with marketing and sales enablement teams, including presenting to the sales team, channel partners and customers on new products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Science, or Engineering.

  • Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and ecosystem (customers, carriers, partners).

  • Strong understanding of technology platforms with 3+ years experience in the technology industry with software or hardware products.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in a cross functional, multi-disciplined team.

  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to develop key concepts and execute them.

  • Required travel will be up to 10%.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in 4G/LTE and 5G wireless technologies is a benefit.

  • A business degree such as an MBA is desired but not necessary.

  • Experience interacting directly with customers is very desirable

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $112,000 - $135,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
