Okta is The World’s Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth.
At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.
Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.

Are you an experienced and driven product manager who’s passionate about securing the world’s largest organizations through a modern, cloud-first approach? Join Okta as we expand Okta’s Privileged Access Management (OPA) product—built for scale, simplicity, and seamless integration with the Okta platform.

You’ll play a central role in shaping a product that protects critical infrastructure and privileged resources across cloud and hybrid environments. This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally, define strategy, and deliver a differentiated Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders including the go-to-market team to distill feature asks, gather feedback, validate use cases, and ensure product-market fit.
  • Product Scope: Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for PAM capabilities across a range of systems (cloud platforms, databases, DevOps tools, and legacy infrastructure).
  • Roadmap Ownership: Identify, prioritize, and drive development of new features and integrations based on market needs, customer input, and technical feasibility. Define and communicate clear product requirements, including features, user experience and functional specifications, to engineering teams.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define connector protocols, APIs, and deployment models that align with cloud-native principles while balancing an intuitive user experience.
  • Delivery & Execution: Drive cross-functional execution with design, engineering, QA, support, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Market Awareness: Track industry trends and emerging technologies in order to think strategically for developing solutions that are differentiated from the competition in the Privileged Access Management space.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage product data to continually improve existing functionality and work across the business to drive adoption and success.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be the subject matter expert for your product area, enabling your counterparts in marketing and technical sales with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position Workflows.

Required:

  • 5+ years of technical product management experience in enterprise-scale SaaS products, or an equivalent background demonstrating core product management competencies.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and products.
  • Proven track record of delivering features or products that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Analytical and decisive with the ability to drive action even with incomplete or ambiguous information.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with research, design, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.
  • A passion for Okta’s mission, coupled with curiosity and a drive to understand both business strategy and technical detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • Domain knowledge or implementation experience with products related to privileged access management
  • Deep understanding of PAM concepts such as credential vaulting, session recording, just-in-time access, and privileged elevation.
  • Hands-on technical background to engage deeply with technical customers and engineering.
  • Prior experience with building connector SDKs, APIs, or technical integrations.
  • Familiarity with zero trust, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud security tooling.
  • Advanced degree in a technical or business field.
