ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Enterprise product team. You'll own the product strategy for our enterprise segment, working closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver solutions that meet the complex needs of large law firms and legal departments. Our current PM team is small and agile, and we're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise complexity and high-growth ambition.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and drive the enterprise product vision, strategy, and roadmap — balancing the needs of large, sophisticated customers with Spellbook's broader mission and business goals.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design to build and scale features purpose-built for enterprise environments, including admin controls, permissions, workflows, data residency, and integrations.

  • Develop a deep understanding of enterprise buyer and user personas — from IT and procurement to managing partners and in-house legal leads — and translate their needs into product decisions.

  • Partner closely with enterprise sales, forward deployed engineering, and customer success to support complex deal cycles, onboarding, and long-term account expansion.

  • Manage and prioritize Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) engagements, balancing the need to unblock critical custom deals with capturing and driving value back into the core product roadmap.

  • Define and own enterprise-specific success metrics, including adoption, retention, expansion revenue, and time-to-value, and use data to continuously refine the roadmap.

  • Manage enterprise customer feedback loops, including executive business reviews, design partnerships, and beta programs with key accounts.

  • Other responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on enterprise or B2B SaaS products.

  • Proven track record of building enterprise-grade product capabilities and compliance — such as SSO/SAML, data residency, role-based access controls, audit logging, or enterprise API integrations.

  • Experience navigating long enterprise sales cycles and working alongside sales and solutions teams to influence deals through product strategy.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise procurement, security, and compliance requirements, and how they shape product development.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage credibly with C-suite stakeholders, enterprise buyers, and technical teams alike.

  • Skilled at leveraging data and customer insight to prioritize in an environment where enterprise needs can be vocal and varied.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead in a fast-paced, agile environment.

NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience working with AI-powered products, particularly in a complex or regulated enterprise context.

  • Familiarity with legaltech, compliance, or highly regulated B2B SaaS industries.

  • Experience building or scaling an enterprise tier from the ground up at a startup.

  • Exposure to enterprise contract management, document review, or workflow automation tools.

WHY JOIN SPELLBOOK?
  • Embrace autonomy and accountability in a flexible work environment; we focus on outcomes and empower you to determine how to get the job done

  • Access our company-paid group benefits for you and your family, with $1,000 towards mental health support

  • Disconnect during our holiday closure and take advantage of our generous time off policies throughout the year

  • Enjoy monthly paid meals, an annual wellness allowance to support your well-being and parental leave top-ups as your family grows

  • Secure your stake in our success; you’ll receive competitive stock option grants as a pivotal early employee

Inclusive Hiring at Spellbook

Spellbook is dedicated to ensuring equal treatment and opportunity in all phases of recruitment, selection, and employment, in compliance with employment law. Use of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment

Spellbook uses artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly to support administrative and efficiency-focused aspects of our recruitment process. This includes activities such as drafting job descriptions, generating interview questions, note-taking and recordings, and supporting sourcing and scheduling workflows. All candidate evaluations, interviews, and hiring decisions are made by members of the Spellbook team. While AI tools may assist with screening and assessment, they do not replace human judgment in selection decisions. Our use of AI is intended to streamline routine tasks, improve consistency, and enhance the overall candidate experience. We are committed to upholding principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability in all hiring activities. Spellbook regularly reviews its recruitment practices to mitigate bias and to ensure alignment with applicable laws and evolving best practices.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Spellbook uses industry benchmark data to establish compensation bands for all roles. The salary range listed for a position reflects the expected total wage range for the role—including base salary and on-target commissions, where applicable—and may span multiple career levels. Final compensation is determined during the interview process based on factors such as experience, skills, scope, and role level. In addition to base salary and applicable commissions, total rewards may include equity, health and wellness benefits, and other company programs. Full details will be shared during the interview process.
