About the Job
As a Senior Product Designer at Vendasta, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering user-centered design solutions that blend creative vision with hands-on technical implementation. You will lead the end-to-end design process while contributing front-end development expertise to create intuitive, responsive, and scalable solutions. Your Impact
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll work with product managers, engineers, and other designers to:
- Develop user-centred design solutions from concept to execution, balancing aesthetics with functionality to enhance the overall user experience.
- Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and working software that align with Vendasta’s strategic vision, ensuring usability and scalability across our products.
- Design AI-powered experiences that feel intuitive, proactive, and user-driven, ensuring technology anticipates needs, adapts dynamically, and gives users the right level of control.
- Collaborate on and refine the design system to maintain visual and technical consistency and ensure a seamless experience across platforms.
- Champion design best practices, advocating for user needs and accessible design principles within the team and organization.
- Drive continuous improvement through user testing, iteration, and feedback loops, ensuring our designs meet both business objectives and user expectations.
What You Bring to the Table
The ideal candidate will have experience in Product Design and UX, with a combination of design and technical skills. This should include:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design / UX, with a robust portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects.
- Proficiency in front-end development, specifically HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of designing for AI-enabled products, including an understanding of AI capabilities, workflows, and user experience considerations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies.
