WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
We are looking for a Senior Producer to join our team at Next Level Games! The Senior Producer will play a key leadership role in the development of high-quality games, managing both people and projects while ensuring that creative vision, technical execution, and production goals align. This role is ideal for someone with a background in game development who has grown into a production role, bringing a strong understanding of game creation and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities in this role are:
- Drive the development process from pre-production through to launch, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Oversee schedules, resources, and budgets while mitigating risks and optimizing workflows to keep development on track
- Support, mentor, and empower multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration across departments
- Apply hands-on knowledge of game development processes, working closely with creative and technical leads to solve challenges and gameplay quality
- Identify roadblocks, drive solutions, and adjust strategies to keep development progressing efficiently
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years of experience in AAA Game Development
- Proven experience in game development. Having transitioned from a craft role (e.g., game designer, artist, engineer, or other) into production is an asset
- Strong project management skills, with expertise in agile, scrum, or other game production methodologies
- Experience leading teams and managing interdisciplinary collaboration in AAA game development
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes engaging, high-quality gameplay experiences
- Experience working directly with game publishers

Please note this is currently a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week at our Vancouver studio.
The hiring range for this position is $122,000 - $165,000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
