- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, providing clear guidance on policies, benefits, leave of absence processes, and other People Ops matters with discretion and sound judgment.
- Support employee relations matters by coordinating documentation, managing sensitive processes, and advising on appropriate next steps in partnership with the People team leadership.
- Support benefits administration and total rewards operations, including enrollments, changes, communications, and coordination with vendors.
- Maintain high data integrity across HR systems, support reporting and audits, and track key People metrics to inform decision-making and compliance.
- Regularly review, update, and help operationalize policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, compliant, and practical as the company grows.
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent, Finance, and Legal to ensure effective implementation of people programs such as performance reviews, compensation adjustments, and development initiatives.
- Coordinate and support offboarding processes, including documentation and compliance-related steps.
- Act as a steady escalation point and operational backup for the People Ops Manager when needed, helping ensure continuity and timely decision-making.
- Contribute to team effectiveness by informally mentoring junior team members, sharing best practices, and supporting process improvements through experience and example.
- Lead or support ad-hoc People Ops projects, particularly those related to AI integration, compliance, benefits, reporting, and process improvements.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4–6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles with increasing scope and responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, employee relations, and employment compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, take ownership, and make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters thoughtfully and professionally.
- Comfort working with HRIS, payroll systems, reporting tools, and Google Workspace / MS Office.
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to step in, lead when needed, and support others’ success.
