POSITION:

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Solution Engineering Manager to support our Canada and LATAM teams.  This position is a second-line leadership role with direct reports of Solution Engineering Managers. You will play a critical role in growing SailPoint’s business by building and leading a high performing team of Solution Engineers.  Our Solution Engineers play a vital role in evaluating, demonstrating, and communicating the value of SailPoint’s products and thought leadership to our prospective customers in the Identity Security market.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Hire, coach and drive outstanding Solution Engineering teams to deliver against assigned goals

  • Manage individual and team performance ensuring that we are taking the necessary actions to maintain high levels of performance

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong management consulting skills to influence thinking or gain acceptance of multiple customer constituencies

  • Work to improve the SailPoint sales methodology and processes effectively, including development of product presentations and evaluations tailored to our prospects requirements and tuned to suit the level and nature of the audience

  • Assess gaps in evolving training needs and then create and implement programs to improve sales, product and technology skills of the Solution Engineering team

  • Will work with GVP, AVPs and Sales Managers on strategy, sales call activity, and evaluation planning

  • Work with the GVP in building a winning GTM strategy for a LOB that is in hyper-growth

  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly field sales, product management and marketing

  • Manage relationships with product teams & decision makers both internally and externally

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience, preferred, not required

  • Previous experience, 5+ years as a Solution Engineering Manager and 5+ years as a Solution Engineer

  • Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to a technical and business audiences

  • The ideal candidate will already have a good understanding of the solutions, market dynamics and best practices in the Identity Governance market

  • 25% travel to Canada and LATAM required

  • The ideal candidate will be multi-lingual (proficient in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French Canadian) and have previous experience leading Canada and LATAM teams

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$143,640 - $205,240 - $266,840

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
