Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Manager, People & Culture (P&C)Enablement, you will optimize and scale operations, enhance efficiency, lead the execution of projects, and champion change. You will play a key role in centralizing information and partnering with teams across the department to capture and track the work that they are executing. As we drive towards operational excellence and maturing our business practices, you will be the conduit between P&C and various cross-functional partners across the organization globally.
This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The People & Culture Enablement team partners across the business to drive the continuous evolution of people and business practices. We execute our annual plan and create the conditions for people, partnerships and work to thrive. This team is the conduit between People & Culture programs and projects, and our cross-functional partners - enabling growth and scaling our capabilities to achieve our business goals. We create and implement standard operating principles and solutions to ensure a consistent experience for our working teams. We work in close partnership with our cross-functional partners within People & Culture, and across the organization.
If you were the Senior Manager, People & Culture Enablement now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Driving the management and execution of our P&C Annual Plan and Long-Term Strategic Plan
- Managing and evolving the P&C Calendar, centralizing visibility to the work happening across the department, communicating to key partners and connecting into other calendar processes
- Driving improvements in the way we work to maximize productivity, efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of our processes and workflows
- Building and maintaining relationships with key partners across the department and organization
- Communicating and connecting effectively with leadership, partners, cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure visibility, engagement and on-going alignment
- Leading the management of the All Company Calendar
- Champion change enablement practices
- Partner with the Senior Manager, People Projects to ensure brief and project readiness, as well as identifying project/workstream kick-off dates and identifying key partners to engage
- Identifying, managing, evolving and implementing foundational P&C tools, processes, plans, methodologies and templates to deliver operational excellence
- Build and implement process for translation of P&C materials for our global employees
- Working closely with senior leaders across P&C and the business in the upstream strategic planning and forecasting of projects against long-term plans
- Delivering regular status roll-ups and reporting to P&C leadership, including issue escalation and resolution
- Balancing oversight of active and upcoming workstreams with resourcing requirements and leaning into support specific projects, where necessary
Here are some things you could be working on in the future:
- Mapping the P&C team program and project load and taking action to ensure appropriate resourcing, prioritization, and alignment to P&C strategic objectives and timelines
- Supporting department budget management, forecasting and financial reporting
Are you our next Senior Manager, People & Culture Enablement?
- You have a bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Project Management, Business, Operations, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
- You have 8+ years of Operations experience, ideally within the retail industry with a large international company, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role leading a project team
- You ideally have experience in People and Culture (Human Resources) related programming such as learning & development, total rewards, people analytics, talent management, systems and/or operations programs in a global business landscape
- You have experience and practical knowledge of Project Management methodologies
- You have excellent ability to influence without direct control
- You have a relentless attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- You have strong written and spoken English, including excellent presentation skills
- You are experienced in using and implementing task management software (Smartsheet, Excel, MS Project, Monday.com etc.)
- You have strong skills in workflow organization and efficiency
- You have advanced experience developing and producing communications (print and/or digital)
- You have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- You have a positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy
- You have the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- You actively participate in activities that we make products for
- You are an effective problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude, ability to multi-task
- You seek and execute the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
