As the Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partner, you will lead our strategic partnership with our Technology team, directly supporting our Chief Technology Officer. You will drive business outcomes through the application of people programs and initiatives that align with our long-term business strategy.

 

You will provide strategic guidance and expertise in organizational design, performance management, workforce planning, and change leadership to drive employee engagement and success at the individual, team, and business level.

 

As a trusted coach and partner to our executive leadership team, you will enable ongoing leadership development across the business through your team’s partnership with their respective functional portfolios.

The People & Culture Business Partner team operates in strategic partnership with the business, driving the continuous evolution of people and leadership practices and fostering a culture that generates high performance teams, strengths-based coaching, and values-based leadership.

You will help grow the P&C Business Partnership function within the Technology portfolio.

If you were the Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partner now, here are some of the core activities you would be responsible for:

  • Partnering with our leaders across the business and overseeing the creation and implementation of our people strategy in alignment with our long-term global business strategy
  • Providing ongoing strategic guidance and coaching to our executive leadership team
  • Building out our People & Culture partnership framework and support structure for our retail teams globally
  • Leading a team of functional P&C partners in providing exceptional support on people, culture, and organizational topics across the business
  • Building and implementing a sound P&C operations framework to enable the smooth execution of our people initiatives and partnership with the business
  • Partnering with the Head of Total Rewards to inform our evolving total rewards strategy based on business needs, and to ensure the successful implementation and communication of total rewards initiates across the business
  • Overseeing our global performance framework, including performance management, talent assessment, and succession planning
  • Providing strategic guidance on organizational design and structure across the business, partnering with the executive leadership team to design high-performing teams that will meet our evolving business needs
  • Driving engagement, trust, and performance across the business through sound change leadership and through your team’s day-to-day partnership with our people
  • Overseeing our workforce planning process, identifying gaps between our current and future competency requirements and ensuring we have a strategic people resourcing plan in place to meet long-term business objectives
  • Operating as a key member of the P&C leadership team to drive cross-functional P&C initiatives 

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing cross-functional P&C projects from scratch and participating in business-wide projects that aim to solve organizational pain points in support of our people strategy
  • Gathering and analyzing relevant people and business information to identify trends. Use the results to update or renovate the existing P&C strategies
  • Leading organizational design in partnership with senior business leaders
  • Supporting on the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects, with a focused lens on P&C, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • Supporting Change Management initiatives, driving Continuous Improvement efforts, overseeing Talent Management strategies, and fostering Organizational Development initiatives to ensure sustained growth and adaptability

Are you our next Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partner?

  • You have a degree in Business and 8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within an apparel business or technology
  • You have previous experience supporting a Technology function of business that is scaling and growing quickly
  • You have previous experience working for a global company and a proven ability to quickly build an understanding of a complex global business model
  • You are great at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data and can manage a complex group of stakeholders
  • You are a natural leader, and you’re not afraid to blaze a trail in uncharted territory
  • You have a highly collaborative style, and a willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams as both a lead and supporting team member
  • You have strong leadership skills and coaching across all levels of leadership
  • You have the ability to coach, mentor, advise and where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal objectives
  • You have strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, assess people, understand trends, and develop prioritized recommendations
  • You have excellent listening and communication skills with an ability to communicate large complex change
  • You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done right and the next moment being part of highly complex strategic business discussion
  • You have the ability to quickly build an in depth understanding of the business, including key processes, priorities and plans
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
