The Senior Manager, Marketing Automation Operations is a hands-on leader of Tipalti’s marketing automation operations systems and team. Essentially, you'll be the resident Marketo expert, ensuring our campaigns are personalized, our data is accurate, and our system is running smoothly, while also coaching the team that helps make it all happen.

Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Act as the primary Marketo administrator, overseeing configuration, governance, system health, and feature adoption to ensure we’re maximizing the platform’s capabilities
- Build and maintain scalable campaign architecture, including program templates, channel setups, naming conventions, and reusable components that support global execution
- Leverage Marketo platform to design and deliver personalized end to end journeys for prospects and customers
- Improve and manage the campaign request intake process (including Asana forms and workflows) to ensure clarity, prioritization, and predictable project timelines that support speed to launch
- Lead the operational buildout, QA, and launch of marketing campaigns, improving intake processes and resource allocation to increase efficiency and speed to market
- Monitor lead intake and data ingestion processes into Marketo to ensure clean capture of data, correct campaign attribution, accurate field population, and seamless syncing from Marketo to Salesforce.
- Develop and enforce data normalization, deduplication, and data quality standards within Marketo and its connected systems to ensure accurate segmentation and reporting.
- Analyze campaign and nurture performance, partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, and implement system or process improvements based on findings
- Maintain a deep understanding of marketing automation and martech best practices, evaluating new tools and enhancements to improve team efficiency, data visibility, and marketer experience
- Provide leadership and coaching to the campaign operations team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and supporting long-term career development
About you
Your background includes:- Undergraduate degree in marketing, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years related experience in marketing automation operations or related experience
- Deep, demonstrable, and current expertise with Marketo Engage required, including Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) status.
- 2+ years experience leading a marketing operations team
- Strong experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms; Marketo required; expertise with Salesforce campaign object, reporting, and integration best practices preferred
- Experience building and managing scalable Marketo programs and folder structures.
- Experience with JavaScript or Velocity Script helpful but not required
- Expertise in administering and deploying marketing systems, including hands-on experience with system configuration, workflow design, campaign build and QA, tagging frameworks, troubleshooting, optimization, and data management
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and continuously improve dynamic content and advanced personalization strategies within Marketo
- Ability to execute on individual deliverables while providing leadership, training and development to marketing automation team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to deliver on individual and team targets in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines

Base Salary Range: $128,000- $160,000 CAD annually.
Bonus: Target bonus is 12.5% of base salary. Bonus entitlement is based on a combination of organizational results, individual performance, and relative contribution, as assessed by Tipalti in its sole discretion, to be formalized and communicated to you following your start date.

Final compensation will be determined through individual assessment of experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-relevant factors.
