Job Summary:
As a Senior Manager in FP&A, you will be central to driving financial planning and analysis that propel our business forward. You’ll lead critical efforts including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting that directly influence strategic decisions made by our Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. What you'll be doing:
As a key member of both the FP&A Group and the Payments Leadership Team, the Senior Manager will:
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Central 1’s payment product offerings and the financial levers that drive performance.
Lead all FP&A activities for the Payments business, including performance management, value-added insights, and pricing analysis.
Manage day-to-day FP&A deliverables, including monthly/quarterly reporting, annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing project analysis.
Ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, detail, and completeness, with ultimate accountability for the team’s output.
Build strategic relationships with business leaders, positioning FP&A as a trusted partner.
Gain deep insight into business needs to provide financial analytics that influence strategic decision-making.
Drive automation and process improvements to enhance data, systems, and reporting efficiency.
Communicate results clearly and professionally, highlighting key assumptions, risks, and implications.
Stay current on analytical tools, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously enhance capabilities.
Operate with agility to meet evolving stakeholder needs while fostering strong collaboration within Finance and across Central 1.
What you'll have:
University degree with a professional accounting designation (CPA) or finance designation (CFA), and 7–10 years of progressive finance experience.
Deep expertise in FP&A operations, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and increasing the value Finance delivers to the organization.
Extensive experience in financial modelling, analytics, and data visualization tools and methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of core financial systems and process automation capabilities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders, with strong collaboration skills and a track record of building credibility across all levels of an organization.
Agile mindset with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Proven leadership experience in developing high-performing teams, including mentoring, providing feedback, and creating professional growth opportunities.
Skilled in building consensus, resolving conflicts, and fostering team trust to drive change.
Leadership presence that inspires excellence, models best practices, and ensures high-quality deliverables in day-to-day operations.
Salary: $115,000-$128,000
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
