What We’re Looking ForOur Client Service Centre Division is seeking a client-focused Senior Insurance Advisor, Personal Lines. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
 
Position SummaryProvide solutions that meet client needs by administering a book of business with comprehensive knowledge of all Habitational Personal Insurance products and policies.  Work within a team environment contributing to personal and departmental sales and retention objectives.Responsibilities
  • Administer Personal Insurance book of business, including accounts receivable.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through leads, referrals, and networking
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve service issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
  • Proactively identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, retention, and service targets as defined by the department
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up to encourage renewals and cross-selling
  • Takes initiative to solve problems on their own.
  • Proactively improves processes & works with leadership.
  • Has strong client / market relationships.
  • Able to handle complex / escalated accounts & clients.
  • Write all regular market PL policies and cross sell other products.
  • Front line underwriting.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • Minimum 3 year Personal Insurance experience
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Completion of industry-related designation (CAIB, CIP, CRM) is not required but is an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
