Role Summary
Ready to take the lead in HR operations, collaborate closely with people managers, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to connect with you!
What You Will Do
- Partner with and coach people managers on HR best practices, including performance management, employee relations, and team development, while also supporting HR Business
- Partners in delivering HR solutions.
- Develop, implement, and own regional HR programs in compliance with employment laws and regulations. Experience with US and Canada immigration programs will be an asset.
- Independently manage complex employee relations matters, including but not limited to performance management, conflict resolution, and investigations.
- Drive process improvements to streamline HR operations and enhance efficiency across programs, in collaboration with the global HR team and HR Centers of Excellence.
- Analyze and leverage HR data to identify trends, drive decision-making, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor the "pulse" of managers and employees to proactively address issues and risks and escalate to global or regional HRBPs.
- Mentor and support junior HR team members, modeling best practices and fostering personal growth in HR capabilities.
- Lead and support ad-hoc projects, as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- Previous relevant experience in a global technology company
- Strong ability to navigate complex HR issues and provide sound guidance on employee relations and compliance.
- Experience influencing and coaching leaders on HR best practices.
- Solid knowledge of Canada employment laws and a commitment to expanding your understanding, with familiarity with US employment laws as a plus.
- Proven track record in leading HR initiatives and driving continuous improvement in HR processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency with using data to inform HR recommendations and decision-making.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and address them before they arise.
- A growth mindset, eager to learn, explore new ideas, and adapt to change.
In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $71,000to $119,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
