We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to a cross-functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. This role is crucial in implementing tooling strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and ensuring our AI-driven solutions integrate effectively within the Workday stack. You will be responsible for implementing AI frameworks and enterprise AI to design and develop scalable, reliable and trusted AI agents for both HR and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of innovative engineers to deliver AI-powered agents that integrate deeply into HR and Financial workflows, accelerating intelligent decision making.
Develop relationships with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists on partner teams
Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
Leverage your React and Python expertise to create elegant, high-performing, and user-friendly interfaces.
Work with product, engineering, and data science teams to implement AI-based automation solutions that enhance HR and financial operations.
Contribute to establishing monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous learning mechanisms to improve agent performance over time.
About You
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience with server-side development using Python as the primary language. Java is a plus
8+ years of proven experience with front-end development using React/Javascript
Strong programming skills using Object-Oriented Principles in web application development.
3+ years of leading technical initiatives within team or department
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent fields
Other Qualifications
Demonstrated experience of designing and leading features with strong focus on non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, security, maintenance, etc.)
Experience mentoring junior developers, leading code reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
Experience driving cross-team dependencies and projects.
Hands-on experience with testing, build automation, continuous deployments, and monitoring, in addition to design and implementation of large enterprise web applications.
Experience on RESTful web service development is a plus.
Solid understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
Superb communication skills. Ability to articulate sophisticated technical ideas
Highly motivated to move at speed with a strong sense of ownership

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
