This is a remote position.
Innosphere is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our client's team. In this role, you'll help architect and deliver modern, scalable software solutions that power business-critical tax research initiatives. You'll work across both front-end and back-end technologies while influencing technical strategy, mentoring engineering best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern engineering best practices.
- Design and build high-performance, highly available applications across both front-end and back-end architectures.
- Lead the delivery of large-scale technical initiatives spanning multiple teams and business domains.
- Influence technical direction, engineering standards, and software architecture across the organization.
- Develop reusable services, libraries, and infrastructure that support long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and overall technical efficiency.
- Help define technology roadmaps and contribute to strategic engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of professional software development experience building commercial software applications.
- Strong experience developing modern full stack applications using Vue.js or React, Node.js, including frameworks such as Express, Fastify, or similar web server frameworks.
- Experience designing and working with PostgreSQL databases.
- Proven experience building stable, scalable, high-performance, business-critical systems.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, including AWS, serverless architectures, Microfrontends, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines. - Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including architecture and design patterns, code reviews, source control, automated testing, build processes, deployment, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience working with Oracle databases.
