About the team 🤝
The Engineering team is responsible for building the features that propel the financial ecosystem into the future. We are a group of developers with diverse skills from backend services, front end, data and automation. Once you are part of the team, you will leverage cutting edge technology, collaborate with product and other technical groups to deliver on Flinks’ vision.
What You'll Be Doing 🔥
- Split your time between working on the frontend and backend APIs as needed, with a strong focus on front end development.
- Develop & deploy scalable distributed and high-quality software in a timely manner using project driven Agile (Scrum) development methodology and cutting-edge technologies
- Interact and engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs of our consumers and users and execute on priorities
- Ensure the software is developed according to best practices as defined by development methodology standards by working on system design coding and code review
- Take ownership and lead delivery of projects or components within projects
- Seek to gain a deep understanding of the Flinks’ product suite and applications that you work on so that you can be most effective
Who You Are 💪
- You have a minimum of 7 years hands-on working experience as a Full Stack developer pushing production code that is being used by large numbers of users, in an agile environment.
- You have extensive experience in Angular for front end development and C# for backend work
- You are a team player and have a proven track record of working as part of a project driven agile engineering team, collaborating with other developers and designers, and translating product requirements into impactful code.
- You appreciate the balance between short and long term code quality goals.
- You have a proven track record of building web applications that serve a large number of different clients, including both web and mobile clients.
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular) and Typescript, Tailwind, Bootstrap
- Strong experience in C# API development
- Understanding of security and its applications in the web ecosystem
- Self motivated with good analytics capability, excellent hands-on skills and someone that enjoys delivering impactful products
Nice to haves
- UX/UI critical thinking (ex: material design principles)
- Front-end testing (ex. Cypress)
- Experience with Webpack
- Knowledge of CI and Docker
- Knowledge of cloud development (GCP)
- Knowledge with product instrumentation / analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, etc. is a plus
- Keen interest in product optimization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
