As the Senior Director or VP of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing high-impact marketing programs that elevate both brands’ visibility, showcase our thought leadership, and strengthen credibility with key audiences across industries.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires working closely with senior stakeholders across consulting, sales, and delivery teams. You’ll balance strategic vision with strong execution skills, leading freelance and contractor resources to produce world-class marketing outputs — from research-led content and case studies to social storytelling and digital presence.

As a Senior Director/VP of Marketing at Angus Reid Group, you will:Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the marketing strategy for Reach3 Insights and Angus Reid Group, aligned with each brand’s growth priorities and market positioning.
- Build and maintain brand equity through consistent, high-quality thought leadership and storytelling.
- Partner with senior business leaders and consultants to identify marketing opportunities and amplify insights-led content.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and contractors to deliver on key priorities efficiently and at a high standard.
- Collaborate closely with the broader central marketing team to ensure brand alignment and leverage shared resources where appropriate.
Content & Thought Leadership
- Lead the creation of content that reinforces brand authority — including blogs, ebooks, articles, social posts, and customer case studies.
- Translate proprietary research and consulting expertise into clear, marketable insights and storylines that differentiate the brands.
- Partner with subject matter experts to co-develop thought leadership assets that reflect each business’s unique perspective on evolving market trends.
- Maintain editorial excellence and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
Digital Presence & Campaign Execution
- Oversee the brands’ digital presence, including website, SEO, and social media, ensuring consistent messaging and strong engagement.
- Develop and execute email marketing and nurture campaigns designed to drive awareness, influence, and credibility — not volume-based lead generation.
- Use analytics to measure the reach and impact of campaigns, optimizing for visibility and influence within target audiences.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central marketing partner for senior consulting leaders across multiple business units, managing diverse needs, priorities, and expectations.
- Coordinate messaging and content development across multiple stakeholders to maintain clarity and alignment.
- Build strong internal relationships that foster collaboration and ensure marketing is tightly connected to business strategy and client delivery.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing within consulting, professional services, or market research organizations.
- Proven track record building brand authority and thought leadership programs that elevate market presence and influence.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills — able to navigate complex organizations and competing priorities.
- Strong writing and storytelling ability; capable of shaping insights and intellectual capital into compelling narratives.
- Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and contractors to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
- Hands-on experience with content marketing, SEO, and email marketing best practices.
- Experience in the market research or consumer insights industry is highly desirable.
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action — comfortable moving between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.

💵 Competitive Compensation
- In determining salary, Angus Reid Group considers many factors including the successful candidate’s skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 CAD, with the upper portion typically reserved for tenured employees who have developed extensive job knowledge and expertise within the company.
- Home office stipend and cellphone stipend.
