About the role.
Based in Toronto, the Senior Director, HR Business Partner, will serve as the strategic HR leader for McCain's Global Digital Technology function. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, this individual will shape and execute the people agenda that supports digital transformation, organizational capability building, and global talent strategies.
The successful candidate will combine deep HR expertise with strong business acumen, enabling Technology leaders to accelerate change, enhance leadership effectiveness, and future-proof the organization.
What you'll be doing.
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Act as a thought partner to senior technology executives, deeply embedding in the business to influence strategy and execution.
  • Build trusted, confidential relationships that enable candid coaching and challenge, ensuring the function continues to evolve and scale.

Talent, Leadership & Succession
  • Lead global talent and workforce planning initiatives, ensuring pipeline readiness for critical and senior roles.
  • Drive succession planning and talent acceleration strategies aligned with McCain's growth and digital agenda.
  • Shape leadership behaviors through coaching, feedback, and development initiatives that elevate organizational performance.

Organizational Design & Change
  • Design and implement structures that enable agility, collaboration, and growth within the Technology function.
  • Provide expert advice on large-scale organizational change and transformation, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Champion robust change management practices to sustain adoption and long-term success.

Culture & Capability Building
  • Partner with business leaders to embed a high-performance culture rooted in McCain's Leadership Model.
  • Elevate digital acumen across the function, integrating metrics, measurement, and accountability into performance systems.
  • Translate people insights into actionable strategies that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, and retention.

People Leadership
  • Lead and develop a small HRBP team (2 direct reports), fostering growth and capability

Operational Excellence
  • Lead HRBP operations with a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on execution.
  • Drive consistency, compliance, and excellence across employee relations, HR processes, and people analytics.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • 10+ years in HR leadership, with strong experience supporting Technology or Digital functions globally
  • Proven track record leading organizational change, transformation, and talent strategy
  • Strong executive presence, coaching skills, and ability to influence at the most senior levels
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging people analytics for better decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (master's preferred); HR or coaching certifications an asset

Compensation Package : $165,000.00 - $220,000.00 CAD annually + Bonus eligibility + Long-term incentive eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
