Lead the FP&A team in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling for Arc'teryx.
Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Director, Corporate FP&A, you are responsible for leading the global financial planning and reporting processes at Arc’teryx, as well as overseeing internal planning and reporting systems. You, along with your team, will support the company by leading the FP&A team to deliver financial plans through forecasting and budgeting, and synthesize business performance through management reporting on monthly and quarterly results. You will also drive the overall financial long-range planning process for the company. You are a leader for the FP&A and greater Finance team, providing stewardship and clarity to achieve the overall global financial goals.

The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.
If you were the Senior Director, Corporate FP&A, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Leading and developing a high performing Corporate FP&A team to drive overall corporate planning and reporting activities deliverables, both internally and externally to parent company
- Overseeing and shaping all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and quarterly guidance processes, including review and consolidation of plans, and directing of all activities with regional and global teams
- Managing overall budget process, inclusive of approach and target setting
- Leading all corporate and management reporting of global monthly and quarterly results, analyzing key movements vs forecast and last year through all components of the P&L
- Directing the development, management and communication of the corporate financial calendar, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams to meet Global deadlines and key deliverables
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of long-term strategic financial planning model, in partnership with the Strategy team
- Leading the team to drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Serving as a key stakeholder in Amer Financial Planning workflow, providing feedback and insight into management of timelines and planning processes
Are you our next Senior Director, Corporate FP&A?
- You have 12+ years of experience as a finance leader, ideally in a large and dynamic global organization
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent coupled with your CPA, CMA, CA, CFA, or MBA
- You have exceptional analytical and modeling skills and expert knowledge of financial statements
- You have demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
- You have excellent communication skills, and experience leading Finance and FP&A teams where you were required to communicate and lead key planning processes
- You have experience consolidating and synthesizing global results, liaising with appropriate teams to understand and analyze results
- You have experience managing and developing calendars with multiple, overlapping priorities and are able to understand how concurrent planning processes impact one another
- You have exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to zoom in and out for a more strategic perspective
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and review of financial models
- You are a pro-active, self-starter, and seek to improve and make processes more streamlined and efficient
