Position Purpose: Partner with business, IT stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to enhance user-centered experiences across digital channels, with a primary focus on conversational interactions such as IVR and chatbot. Plan, research, and facilitate conversation design processes, including design thinking and human-centered design activities for services and products across digital and non-digital touchpoints. Develop and maintain user journeys, user flows, and prototypes that clarify problems, create shared alignment, and craft solutions that balance end-user needs with business requirements.

  • Monitor and analyze IVR and chatbot usage to determine needs and recommend updates or features. Manage content reviews and audits, provide qualitative analysis, and align recommendations with business goals.
  • Create low- to high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and conversation flows (e.g., IVR scripts, chat sequences) to visually represent and optimize the end-user experience. Communicate conceptual ideas, prototypes, and user-centered design processes to product, engineering, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate directly with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Engineers, and other designers to define end-user requirements, maintain consistency across products, and ensure alignment with product goals. Contribute to shared design standards, reusable patterns, and a consistent voice, tone, and interaction style across digital products.
  • Consistently consider the holistic user experience, potential system states, and product overlaps, identifying connections and potential conflicts between products, features, and platforms. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Factors, HCD, Interaction Design, Service Design, Marketing, Instructional Design, Digital Arts or related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience required.
 

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
