Job Description:
As a Senior Consultant, you will help clients understand how users interact with their digital properties and translate that understanding into optimization strategies. You will lead UX analytics and journey analysis engagements, uncovering user friction points and turning insights into clear, testable recommendations.
Your focus will be on analyzing behavior across digital journeys, creating compelling stories from data, and advising on optimization strategies that can be validated through experimentation. Testing is a key outcome of your work, but your expertise is rooted in user experience data, journey insights, and actionable storytelling. You will report to a Manager, Experience Optimization.
ResponsibilitiesManage projects to ensure successful completion of deliverables within the statement of work ("SOW") scope, timeline, and budget, maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Build client-facing presentations that turn UX and web analytics data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Analyze user behavior across journeys to identify friction points, drop-off moments, and optimization opportunities.
Translate broad client questions into focused learning agendas and clear problem statements.
Own the “red thread” across a user journey, connecting insights to testable hypotheses and optimization priorities.
Tell the story using a combination of traditional analytics tools and behavioral data like heatmaps, session replays, and journey diagrams.
Lead the analysis and iteration cycles that follow testing, ensuring findings drive continuous improvement.
Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them prioritize optimization initiatives based on user data.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate UX and journey analytics into broader digital strategies.
At least 4 years of experience in digital analytics, UX research, digital optimization, or a related consulting role.
At least 2-3 years of strong hands-on experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.
Proven ability to identify user friction points and translate them into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders.
Experience with behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Contentsquare, Hotjar, Crazy Egg) for heatmapping, journey analysis, and session replay is a major plus.
Experience designing A/B or multivariate experiments to validate UX insights (Optimizely, Adobe Target, VWO, AB Tasty, etc)
Familiar with digital UX concepts and behavioral journey analysis.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills with executive-ready PowerPoint deliverables is a must.
Experience with Tag Management Systems (e.g., GTM, Adobe Launch) is a plus.
Ability to thrive in environments that require bringing clarity to complex, incomplete, or ambiguous data sets.
Bachelor's degree required.
Stay up to date with trends in UX research, analytics, optimization strategies, and emerging technologies like AI.
The salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
