The Opportunity
FISPAN is looking for a data-obsessed, strategically-minded Senior Compensation Analyst to join our People team.
As we scale in 2026, our focus is on precision - ensuring our investment in talent directly drives our business goals. You will be continuing the work that has been done around our total rewards infrastructure, bridging the gap between high-level workforce planning and tactical hiring execution. You are responsible for maintaining accurate, compliant, and budget-aligned employee compensation data. You will play a pivotal role in our mission to optimize our employees by ensuring our compensation programs drive a high-performance, high-growth culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Compensation & Workforce Planning: You will lead workforce planning initiatives, ensuring our headcount growth is sustainable and aligned with revenue targets. Partner with leadership to refine our Performance Zones and ensure salary adjustments are data-driven, transparent, and market aligned.You will also be responsible for FISPAN’s pay equity & fairness audits, pay transparency reporting, and overall pay equity compliance.
You will be responsible for FISPAN’s performance and merit cycles, ensuring that pay equity is observed throughout the organization.
2. Salary & Sales Incentive Plan Modeling: Conduct deep-dive market benchmarking to maintain our competitive edge in Vancouver tech hubs. In collaboration with the sales teams, support the design, modelling, and management of complex incentive plans, ensuring incentives are aligned with FISPAN’s ARR goals and supporting the GTM team visions.
3. Equity Management: Take full ownership of FISPAN’s equity platform (GetWalter). You will manage the cap table, oversee grant issuance, and act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding their equity holdings.
4. Payroll & Compliance: Ensure seamless integration between our salary analysis, sales incentive plan payouts, and payroll execution. Act as the "Source of Truth" for all compensation data, ensuring 100% accuracy across BambooHR, GetWalter, and our financial reporting tools.
5. Communication & Training: Design and deliver clear, effective compensation communications and training for managers and employees, ensuring a strong understanding of FISPAN’s compensation philosophy and confidence in the fairness and integrity of our processes.
6. Job Spec Architecture & Career Development Planning
Own and maintain FISPAN’s job spec architecture and levelling frameworks to ensure roles, career paths, and compensation structures remain clear, equitable, and scalable. Ensure alignment between role scope, impact, and rewards, and apply progression standards consistently across the organization. Partner with People, Finance, and leadership to support defensible career development decisions.
7. AI forward focus
Serve as the lead for integrating AI and automation tools into the Total Rewards function. You will move the compensation department away from manual spreadsheet management toward an AI focused approach, creating agents that will replace much of the manual work associated with this role.
The Ideal Profile
- Experience: 4+ years in Compensation or Total Rewards, ideally in a scaling SaaS environment. You have operated at a senior individual contributor level and are comfortable working autonomously and cross-functionally, engaging with leadership regularly.
- Systems Expert: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex modeling is your happy place). Experience with GetWalter (Equity) and BambooHR is a significant asset.
- Analytical Mindset: You don't just report data; you find the "why" behind the numbers. You understand how compensation influences ARR/FTE.
- Communication: You can translate complex financial models into clear, "human" explanations for employees and executives alike.

Compensation Package
FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $94,820 - $111,410 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
