As an experienced copywriter, you’ll report to All Turtles' Director of Brand Content and work with the marketing teams of studio companies. You'll develop marketing copy and editorial content to strengthen brand positioning and identify opportunities to improve existing content. Expect to work across channels and stages: from core brand messaging for startups to intensive hands-on creation of website copy, email journeys, video scripts, blog posts, case studies, ads, and social media.
If you enjoy thinking holistically about marketing initiatives and bringing a brand’s voice to life, then this role could be a fit. We’re looking for someone who loves crafting compelling copy and elevating brands but can also contribute strategically to early-stage projects and companies.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Strengthening brand positioning through the power of words across all brand touchpoints and editorial channels.
- Effective messaging for new or evolving brands, products, and services, working closely with stakeholders.
- Collaborating directly with All Turtles’ brand designers in a fast-paced, iterative creative process to meet marketing challenges.
- Working with content, brand, product, marketing, and design leadership to deliver exceptional copy that rises above the crowd while serving business goals.
- Contributing to and improving our design culture (best practices, tools, deliverables, communications, relationships, etc.).
- Handling a continually changing workload, potentially across multiple brands in parallel.
IDEALLY, YOU’LL HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in brand copywriting, including web, email, video, blog posts, case studies, marketing campaigns, and social media.
- Proven experience in crafting, iterating, and improving copy across all channels.
- Ability to understand the big picture behind a startup’s mission, the aspirational value it promises, and the nitty-gritty of how a product works from a user’s perspective.
- An outstanding eye for detail and consistency, combined with a deep understanding of branding, marketing, and copywriting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple, diverse projects.
- Proficiency with design and collaboration software, including Figma, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace. You’ll spend a lot of time in all four.
- Experience working with early-stage B2C and B2B companies.

How We Work
We work in two seasons per year with limited in-season breaks, followed by two consecutive weeks off that the entire company takes simultaneously. This means we work hard from January through early July, take a break to rest and reset, then refocus on output from mid-July through late December before taking another break at the end of the year. It means a lot of other things too, but we’ll explain that when we get into the interview process.
This Senior Brand Copywriter role is a contracting position reporting to All Turtles’ Senior Director of Brand Content. Our distributed team works primarily across North American time zones. While this role is partly asynchronous, the ability to work hours that overlap with those time zones is preferred.
